Work Without Barriers (WWB) is a pioneering initiative by RDC, dedicated to supporting disabled individuals in their employment journey. Through this specialist lending library, participants can access short-term loans of workplace equipment for up to 90 days, whether they are currently employed, starting a new role, on placement, or actively seeking work. WWB is designed to eliminate the waiting period for permanent workplace adjustments or government support, such as Access to Work, ensuring that disabled people are not held back by delays or lack of resources. The program offers a wide range of specialist equipment tailored to individual needs, accompanied by expert advice and ongoing support from RDC’s team. By removing barriers to employment, WWB empowers disabled jobseekers and employees to perform at their best, fostering greater independence and confidence. The program is rooted in RDC’s commitment to disability rights, inclusion, and lived experience, aiming to create workplaces where everyone can thrive.
